Once again, I’ll be taking over Cats vs Dogs, because the cats are on strike. Not really. I’m just taking over the column to share about my new Chamilia charm bracelet that I love. But first, a little back story…
My boyfriend sucks at gifts. He doesn’t want me to make him a list, but he has a difficult time choosing a gift for me. I’ve tried to let him off the hook (let’s just save for a vacation or a project), but he’s not having it. I’ve also put the ky-bosh on trips to the mall while he buys me a present and hands it over. So not Christmas-y.
Last year he was trying to decide between one of those cool new charm bracelets we see at the store and a Kindle Fire. I loved them both and was so excited when I opened my Kindle Fire Christmas morning. That day I finished Hunger Games (awesome book!). I still slow down when I come across a jewelry store display of the charm bracelet and I’m happy to say that I’m a proud owner of a Chamilia charm bracelet!!!
My wrist looks a bit bare with the Chamilia Silver Snap Bracelet and single Crystal Paw – Clear Swarovski bead, so it’s been fun sitting with Jaffrey nearby while I surf the Chamilia menu of pets and animal charms.
I was going to go for the pink Crystal Paw, but wanted to stay neutral, because I’m still designing the rest of my bracelet.
I love the two cats together (Jaffrey and Cosmo) and the puppy.
And although the sleeping kitty is tempting, the paw prints made out of hearts makes me smile.
So I’ve been surfing the Chamilia site whenever I have a free moment, designing my bracelet. This has got to be the coolest process and I’m having a blast. I added beads that reflect my love of photography, books, and one represents my boyfriend (Protect and Serve). Here is what I have so far, but it’s far from over; I think I need more color…
If you want to treat yourself to a bracelet, then check out the Chamilia site. If you want to leave a hint for someone else or surprise a loved one, then definitely check out the site. I recommend buying someone the bangle and one bead and let your loved one choose the rest. It’s crazy fun!

I amnot big jewelry person but this is really cute. The idea of customizing your own charms is pretty irresistable as well. It looks like they have a ton of fun options too!

I know, right? I’m hoping to pick up a charm or two for the holidays. I’m not a big jewelry person, but my paw print ring and this bracelet have gotten a lot of wear.
