Have you heard of GUND? I have never heard of this company, but today I’m a fan. Why? Because I’m a fan of all things huggable and GUND has been creating “The World’s Most Huggable” teddy bears for over 100 years!!! Today is the first day of the GUND Top Dog contest with the grand prize of “the Boo Treatment.”
What’s “the Boo Treatment?”
This is such a cool idea. The grand prize is a limited edition, stuffed dog from GUND that is made in the winner’s dog’s likeness! What to know what’s even better? The toy will be available in toy and gift stores in 2013!!! Your dog could become a huggable GUND plush!
GUND Contest Categories
GUND invites fur parents to enter their pup on the GUND Facebook page into one (or all) of the following four categories:
Most Beautiful Dog | Ugliest Dog | “Doganista” / Best Dressed Dog | Dog that Most Resembles its Owner
GUND Contest Dates
Entries are accepted between July 16 – August 5
Voting occurs between August 6 – August 15
But Wait, There’s More!!!
GUND is also going to be running a “Most Pinteresting Dog” Contest on Pinterest. Consumers will be asked to post their entry on their own pages, “tag”@GUNDMostPinterestingDog and submit the link to GUND at MostPinterestingDog@GUND.com. The “Most Pinteresting Dog” Contest winner will be selected based on the number of times the entry is “liked” on the GUND Pinterest board and the winner will receive a selection of GUND products valued at $250 retail.
