I have volunteered and fostered golden retrievers dogs for 8 years. I specialized in seniors and special needs dogs. Although, I have had puppies and dogs of all ages, my fostering preference are still the seniors and special needs dogs, because of course they are the hardest to place.

A little about Sarah’s Dogs…

Tommy, who was misdiagnosed with cancer, he had a shattered hip and became a project dog getting stem cell treatment.

Athena, has an extra vertebrae and rib, so she bunny hops when she walks. She was suppose to be euthanized by the shelter, but our rescue group took her in and I adopted her.

Sarah isn’t currently affiliate with a dog rescue group, but she does support the golden retriever rescue group Homeward Bound, which is out of Northern California.
