MonoFoil is a Great Cleaning Product for Homes with Pets

If you have pets then you know how hard it can be to keep your home clean and pet odor free.  We have two cats and three dogs.  We have a strict cleaning regime when it comes to our pets (especially after our experience with canine parvovirus):

• Sweep the hardwood floors every other day
• Vacuum the living room twice a week
• Mop the hardwood floors twice a week
• Clean the litter box daily
• Put away toys
• Wash the dog bedding twice a month (more often during rainy periods)
• Clean up Puppy Yard twice a week

With all that, we still have days when you walk in the door right after one of our cats made a deposit to their litter box.  There are days when the rain gets me down simply because we’re going to have three wet dogs stinking up the place.  We have a Scentsy (which smells yummy) and I like to mop with Clorox Lavender Pine Sol.  We also have a Rainbow RainMate, which cleans the air.

This all works great, but I found something that works better than all of this combined.  MonoFoil!  A LinkedIn connection introduced me to MonoFoil, an antimicrobial cleaner, which is safe to use in our home, because it leaves no residue that would be harmful to our pets.  What’s even nicer is that MonoFoil offers protection for days.

• Spray carpet, rugs, and furniture with MonoFoil twice a month
• Spray in and around the litter box

We still have a a strict cleaning regime that we follow.  MonoFoil isn’t a miracle worker, but I do love that it eliminates pet smells immediately and NOT by covering the smell with another smell.  It doesn’t smell like dog+litter box+flowers in our house.

Laundry— all-purpose, anything you can safely wash in your washing machine can be treated with MonoFoil. We suggest using it to keep your towels and bedding smelling their best.

Vehicle interiors— sanitize and eliminate odors

Air filters and ducts— reduces household dust and odors when used in your air filters and ducts

Shower curtains, stalls, sinks, and bathtub— Great at keeping away the mold, mildew and odors that creep into the bath areas

Kitchen sinks and trash cans— Reduce odors, sanitize surfaces

Garage & Basement— apply to concrete, wood, plaster, or drywall to eliminate mold and mildew

Doorknobs, telephones, light switches, and other high-touch areas— eliminate germs that hide in high-touch areas like the door knobs, computer keyboards, lamps, etc. Highly trafficked areas should be treated every 15-20 days for maximum protection.
