I transitioned my dogs to a raw food diet in April 2013 to address one of our dogs' health issues. Allergies, digestive issues, skin rashes, itchy paws, and more. Our veterinarian at the time prescribed antibiotics and recommended prescription food. I began to wonder if there was another answer and my search introduced me to raw feeding.
Today, I'm feeding five dogs a diet of raw food – but when I started, I was overwhelmed and didn't think I could figure this out. Everyone has an opinion, everyone wants to give you their advice, but no one knows my dogs. Staying focused on my dogs and taking my time as I learned how to feed my dogs helped me gain the confidence to take control of my dogs' nutrition. Raw feeding is easy now.
