Our experience with our Riley opened our eyes to the dangers our puppies face daily. We now have Blue, a sweet Cattle Dog, Border Collie mix puppy who is vaccinated, but we still want to do our best to protect him. When I first heard of Pawtizer Pet Wipes
, my thought was that the creators were going a little overboard. Our dogs are carrying germs back to everyone in the family? Jeez. The month of May gave our family a crash course in puppy health and I gained a new respect for Pawtizer and its creators.
A hand sanitizer for our dogs?
I have hand sanitizer around the house and at my desk at work. I’m not a germaphobe, but I love clean hands and I will rub it across my hands several times a day. Our dogs deserve the same care and I’ve started wiping their paws after our walks. I don’t think Pawtizer Pet Wipes can kill the ParvoVirus, but I think it does a lot to not only sanitize our dogs, but it goes a step further by protecting our family.
Why I love Pawtizer!
We can wipe the dogs paws when they come in from a very messy play session or walk. Our dogs aren’t stepping in poo all the time, but there’s the occasional accident and now that “accident” isn’t tracked on our floors and furniture. It’s crazy cool that we can sanitize our dogs paws effectively. We wipe their paws with a towel, but it’s just spreading the germs around. Yeah, so not effective. Our dogs come into germs and bacteria daily. It takes no time at all to wipe them down when they come in and this wipe down decreases the amount of pollen being tracked in the house. My nose is happier. And we can use this for our cats too, who don’t get baths and track their litter box all over the house. Yuck! They’re not fans, but they will tolerate the Pawtizer Pet Wipes; they won’t tolerate a bath.
And Pawtizer Pet Wipes come in handy when I need to clean up one of the dogs. Sydney had really rough paws recently. I cleaned them up with the Pawtizer wipes and then rubbed them down with Pawtizer Pet Wipes and they were back to normal in less than 10 minutes.

This is the coolest part. The price is amazing! $7.99 for 100 count container, $5.99 for 45 count container, and $4.99 for the spay. For those prices, we have will definitely be adding Pawtizer Pet Wipes to our pet budget.

I had a few more questions for the creator of Pawtizer Pet Wipes:
1) Are Pawtizer Pet Wipes safe to use on a daily basis? YES! Pawtizer wipes and sprays can be used everyday. To clarify, the wipes and sprays do not build a resistance to the germs. How Pawtizer works is that it kills 99.9% of germs that your dog may carry and transmit to you. The wipes also act as an antibacterial for humans with the Benzalkonium Chloride formula that we use. So what you’re doing is sanitizing your dog, so that in turn it will prevent potentially harmful germs from being transferred from your dog to you and your loved ones. Also in the 90s Benzalkonium Chloride was approved by the FDA to be more effective than products like Purell when used at a 0.13% ratio. Also our products do not contain any alcohol so they won’t dry out the sensitive sweat glands located in your dog’s paws. Please let me know if you have any more questions on this.
2) What about if our dogs lick their paws? Pawtizer is completely safe and gentle to use on your dogs. Our sprays are meant to be used on the paws mostly, and the sprays contain a natural bittering agent called Bitrex, you can do a simple google search to find out more about bitrex.
3) Is Pawtizer safe if a dog has a would, rash, or burn? The burn I’m referring to is from hot pavement or the sensitivity/abrasions they get from snow (our dog Rodrigo gets this). Yes like I said above Pawtizer is completely safe to use, as it only kills the germs with no reported negative side effects. No alcohol in our formula keeps their pads in perfectly good condition for dogs to go about their daily business!

My daughter is very cute when she clean our dog with everything what she find around. The last time this was one printed towel. Now with these wipes it will be a bigger pleasure for her to do it.

I know what you mean. After our experience with parvo, we’re a lot more careful with our dogs and every step towards keeping them healthy gives us peace of mind that our dogs will be with us for a long time.
