Rodrigo has arthritis in his front left elbow. Sydney has joint issues in her front right shoulder. They’ve been taking Life’s Abundance Agility for more than 6 months and it’s worked wonders. When we received the opportunity to try out Wag Lifetime Joint Supplement For Dogs, I was first tempted to pass; but then I reconsidered and I’m glad that I did.
The person who first introduced me to non-toxic flea and tick treatments stated he thinks chemicals lead to cancer. After that conversation, we stopped using spot treatments on our dogs and now use non-toxic treatments. It was exciting to see that the Wag joint supplements were all natural. Making me feel more comfortable giving them to our adult dogs.
From Amazon.com:
All Natural Ingredients - The other ingredients in Wag Lifetime Joint Care consist of two natural herbal extracts and a blend of organic, chelated trace minerals. The combination of all four of these natural bioactive compounds provides total support for your dog’s complete structural vitality. Each ingredient has been thoroughly researched and clinically tested, providing you the assurance that your dog is getting the highest-quality supplement.
It tastes great!
The dogs love the taste of the joint supplements and take them with no muss no fuss. All other joint supplements had to be mixed with yogurt or peanut butter to make it past their teeth.
Our puppy sits politely, waiting for his supplement, but he’s too young.
It works fast!
I didn’t think that I could attest to the claim that it’s “fast acting,” because our dogs were already taking a supplement. But I made the switch over and although I saw no positive change in Rodrigo, I was excited that the change to a new supplement was seamless (he was barely able to walk on one leg last fall/winter). The “fast acting” was very apparent with Sydney.
She was developing a limp that was partly due to developing arthritis, a pulled muscle (she get’s daily massages), and her weight. She’s now losing weight (she looks so good) and within days of taking Wag joint supplement, her energy level popped up and we watch, amazed, as she runs around with the other dogs with no joint or muscle pain.
Similar dosage to Life’s Abundance
The Wag joint supplement dosage instructions is 2 tablets per day for each of our adult dogs. The Life’s Abundance Agility supplements are 1-1/2 tablets a day per dog and can be used for cats too.
Similar ingredients
I checked the ingredients, comparing them to Life’s Abundance Agility, and the ingredients are very similar, but not the same, which is great and here’s why…
From Amazon.com:
Better than Glucosamine? - Wag Lifetime Joint Care contains four branded and patented ingredients – NEM®, Microminzyme(TM), BCM-95®, and BosPure® – that are scientifically documented to be safe and effective. NEM®, Wag Lifetime Joint Care‘s flagship ingredient, is clinically proven to be five times more effective than glucosamine and chondroitin, and pet-owners typically see results in as little as 7-10 days.
Revolutionary Natural Eggshell Membrane - While glucosamine and chondroitin are often synthesized in chemical labs or else sourced from animal byproducts, NEM® is a bioactive matrix derived from eggshell membrane. NEM® recently won the Frost & Sullivan 2011 North American Dietary Supplements for Joint Health New Product Innovation of the Year award.
Amazon.com Customer reviews
There are three positive customer reviews on Amazon.com. I would be skeptical of three 5 star reviews if I haven’t already seen improvements in our dog Sydney. Her playfulness is fun to watch. She chases the puppy around with Rodrigo and she’s even getting more involved at the dog park. Best of all, she keeps up with her brothers on long walks.
The cost of Wag Joint Supplements
I was a little turned off by the price, but when I did some research I found that the price is actually pretty good and now that I know how well it works I think the price is worth it! I love seeing Rodrigo still playing like the young dog that he is and it’s nice to see Sydney pain free (something she wasn’t experiencing with our former joint supplement).
So what next?
We’ll continue to give our dogs the Wag Lifetime Joint Supplement For Dogs. I’m excited about what we’ve seen so far and will continue to give

Glad to hear your four legged family members are doing better. Nice to see that they taste good too. The only way I can get my dog to eat any kind of supplement or pill is by mixing it in peanut butter or their wet food if I can get away with it.

We did eventually make it back to the peanut butter. Rodrigo loves it so I add a little for his benefit. I found out recently that my boyfriend was giving them tons of peanut butter (I wasn’t specific enough in the instructions). He took “dollop” literally.

I have a 13 year old Aussie who has had hip dysplasia since birth. Very active until about 11 when I had to start with adequan shots, which helped. But once he turned 13 at times he was really sore and walked with a roached back. I tried a sample of Wag and within a week he was walking so well. Now on them for a few months and he is like a new dog. Can get up and down with much more ease and even goes on walks again. I highly recommend this product.

That is so lovely to hear (or read). We have three Cattle Dog mix pups and they are very active. It broke our heart when Rodrigo couldn’t walk on one leg due to pain and now that seems like it was happening to someone else’s dog, because he hasn’t even had a hint of a limp since we put him on Wag.

We order it from Amazon.com for two of our dogs and it’s been fantastic. I’ve never heard of back allergies. I’ll have to look into that.
